Six Friends, Coal River Valley cellar door

The grapes that make up Six Friends are grown at Burnside in Orielton, on the edge of the Coal River Valley. The property is an historical house and sheep farm that has been in the Dunbabin family since 1906 and boasts an extensive garden that you are welcome to browse and picnic in. The vineyard has approximately a hectare of established pinot vines and a newly planted hectare of pinot, chardonnay, shiraz and riesling. This year we will be offering vertical tastings of pinot noir from 2019 to 2025 vintages in the quiet of the garden. We also have our sparkling and a small amount of our very first riesling. Open all weekend and just up the road from Brinktop Vineyard, we hope to see you for this enjoyable annual event.
