About the festival

Southern Open Vineyards Weekend 2027

Traditionally held around the first weekend of March, the Southern Open Vineyards Weekend is a self-guided journey through Southern Tasmania's wine regions, just as the grapes ripen for vintage.

Plan your own route through the Coal River Valley, Derwent Valley, Huon Valley, D'Entrecasteaux Channel and the South East, tasting at cellar doors and vineyards, many of them rarely open to the public.

2027 marks the 30th Southern Open Vineyards Weekend. More details are coming soon.

25 – 28 February 2027
