2forty9 Wine Farm is part of the historic Wattlebanks property in Campania, where the Green family has farmed since 1954. Today, the third generation tends the vines, while the fourth generation – Havana and Hunter are growing up on the farm, carrying the family story into the future.
Since planting our first Pinot Noir vines in 2016, we’ve been exploring how this variety thrives in Tasmania’s cool climate, revealing everything from delicate aromatics to layered, elegant flavours. Each bottle reflects the dedication, love, and passion behind a wine we are proud to share.
This is our very first time taking part in Spring in the Vines. We’ll be pouring our Pinot Noir across the road at Bear & Bird Wine Farm, alongside Bear & Bird’s wines and Lost Pippin’s cider.
We’re looking forward to sharing our wine with you in a relaxed setting. You are more than welcome to bring your own picnic and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
On Sunday, Helen’s Idea will perform live, providing a perfect musical backdrop while you sip and savour.
