Mount Direction Estate is a 1824 heritage-listed property, now with a vineyard, located on the River Derwent. We will be launching our 2025 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir at SOVW so come and join us on the deck for a tasting of our very first vintage.
The property is being renovated however the cottage, loft, bakery and stables are done. Come for a sticky beak and see what we have been up to for the past few years. Our renovation is considered, respecting the heritage fabric but with a modern twist, due to be completed in early 2027. Our vines are looking great and we are already excited for our next vintage, but first things first- let’s launch 2025 and have a fun weekend, with food available and nibbles with your tasting.
Tastings are free, glasses of wine $15 each and our bottles are $55. Our winemaker Thomas New, of Future Perfect, also showcasing his wines with us, is particularly excited about our Pinot Noir.
