Collado Way Wines is a new wine brand based in the Huon Valley, making small batches of wine from carefully selected sites across Tasmania. We don’t have a cellar door or winery of our own yet, making this our first opportunity to invite people to meet us and taste what we’ve been making over the past season.
Between us, we have more than 20 years of winemaking experience, having worked across five continents, and we have spent the last 9 years in the Huon Valley. It was here that we decided to put down roots and focus on the incredible quality and potential of Tasmania’s cool climate wines.
We are very lucky that both of our employers supported our side project by allowing us to make our wines at their facilities—Chatto Wines and Mewstone Wines—both of which will also be open during the festival.
Come and meet us, taste our wines and spend some time with us in the Huon Valley. Enjoy a glass of wine, good music and the relaxed atmosphere of one of the most beautiful and laid-back spots in the valley, made possible thanks to the generosity of our neighbours at Fat Pig Farm.
To make the day even better, Noa Masel will be serving delicious Mediterranean style small plates to enjoy alongside the wines.
It’s a chance to taste our wines for the first time, meet the people behind the bottles and experience a relaxed spring afternoon of wine, food, music and the Huon Valley community.
